Predictive Maintenance (PdM)

PdM involves periodic monitoring of machine condition to determine the
mechanical status. Defects caused by normal wear, improper operation and
changes in structural integrity are detected. The early detection allows
corrective maintenance to be planned. Additionally, the maintenance work
can be prioritized in relation to criteria such as urgency, manpower and
part deliveries.

A Predictive Maintenance Program will monitor machine condition. It allows
repairs to be planned, not forced by a breakdown. It will provide information
to maintenance and engineering personnel which will allow them to make timely
