Thermography detects a large range of structural, mechanical
& electrical conditions BEFORE they develop into failure.

In one case, thermography indicated an abnormal temperature point
on the elbow of a steam line. The thickness was inspected with an
ultrasonic measurement tool and found to be 60% thinner than the
adjoining pipe wall. Timely replacement prevented a dangerous
rupture that could have injured personnel and shut down the plant.
